Gaming Mouse Logitech G303 Daedalus Apex review

Not so long ago, we became acquainted with a new manipulator from Logitech – Logitech G303 Daedalus Apex, gaming mouse entry level in the G-series. Today we look at its so-called “Performance Edition”. At first glance, the new product is absolutely identical to the low-end model, but the main differences are inside.

Design and Ergonomics – Logitech G303 Daedalus Apex

Differences from the Logitech G303 Daedalus Apex, as already mentioned, at least here. Mouse body remains entirely made of opaque black plastic glossy elements are present, but their practicality for the location and number are not affected. Of the differences, which are noticeable at first glance, is to provide a braided cord tissue. Braid itself resembles that in the model G502 Proteus Core, covering quite slippery, and the cable itself is soft and light enough.

The most noticeable difference in the appearance becomes obvious when a mouse is connected to the PC. G303 Daedalus Apex received RGB-backlit logo and side areas. At the time, the implementation of the backlight in the G302 pleasantly surprised and even displaying only blue mouse is impressive, especially given the budgetary position.

NEW retained perforation honeycomb and now thanks to the new LEDs through a plurality of openings small area around the G303 can be illuminated by one of 16.8 million colors. Software Logitech Gaming Software allows you to adjust the illumination of a fairly wide range, there are multiple effects and choice of colors. Logo G-series on surface just received his illumination with extensive customization capabilities.

It should say that at the moment, Logitech G303 Daedalus Apex – an example of the most effective and high-quality implementation of the backlight in the gaming mouse. This is exactly the case when the backlight design complements, not only created to attract attention.

With regard to ergonomics, there is no change. The mouse has identical with the model G302 weight and dimensions. Recall that as before, the case of the novelty is very light and compact. Owners of small hands can use grip “palm” or “claw” for owners of large hands – “fingers” and “claw”. Pleasant change is two additional Teflon feet located on the bottom sides.

In the younger version of this was not enough, and when using the manipulator paired with fuzzy rug could feel unpleasant hooks sides of the mouse tissue. The older version is devoid of such nuances.

Here, as they say, “all right.” Accidentally pressed not occur in principle, but it should be, especially when it comes to expensive and high-performance products.

Additional keys are in the same place as their course and response have not changed and they are still easy to use, the same holds true for the scroll wheel. For the main keys, Logitech claims the life of 20 million keystrokes – quite typical and a decent warranty period.
