Toshiba has announced the renewal Satellite U Series Ultrabooks and laptops Satellite M. Now they use the newly introduced processors Intel Haswell.
Ultrabook Satellite U50t Toshiba is the first device of this class, equipped with 15.6-inch HD touchscreen display. It also may include a processor Intel Core fourth-generation Ultrabooks with integrated graphics Intel HD Graphics 4400, up to 16 GB of RAM and hard disk capacity of up to 1TB. In addition, the device carries a two-port USB 3.0, one port USB 2.0, wireless modules Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi, a Gigabit LAN port Ethernet, HD webcam with stereo microphone, a slot for memory cards SD, video output HDMI 1.4. The battery provides up to 7 hours of battery life. This new model has dimensions of 377,5 x249, 5×21, 3 mm and a weight of 2.3 kg.
The updated series of notebooks Toshiba Satellite M also uses a 15.6-inch HD display (optional – touchscreen), an Intel Core fourth generation of up to 16 GB of RAM and hard disk capacity of up to 1TB. However, in this case, in addition to the integrated graphics core into the processor Intel HD Graphics 4400 can be applied and a discrete graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M with 2 GB of memory, with its technology to support NVIDIA Optimus. Other features of Satellite M Series devices conform to those of the model Satellite U50t. Only the minimum weight is from 2.1 kg. It is also noted that some of the Satellite M Series models can be equipped with processors AMD APU.
The updated device Satellite U and Satellite M should be on sale in the third quarter of this year, but the level of prices is not reported.
