The Dutch company TomTom, specializing in a variety of navigation devices, decided this year to continue to develop its line of “smart” watches by moving this week its first GPS Fitness Watch with physical activity tracker that received the commercial name TomTom Spark. In addition to the new sports watch, the company will release simultaneously compatible Bluetooth-headset TomTom Fitness Headphones, allowing convenient to listen to music during exercise.

Watches TomTom Spark performed in a sealed plastic housing with a water-resistant to 5 ATM (50 meters). Office hours by a single four-way controller, which is placed under a contrast monochrome display Sharp Memory LCD. Watches provide a built-in heart rate sensor, GPS modules and Bluetooth, an accelerometer, a lithium-ion battery (operation time is not specified), and at least 3 Gb of internal flash memory, which can store up to 500 individual music tracks.

Sales of the new series of watches TomTom Spark should start in the first days of October this year, all planned six models: Spark GPS Fitness Watch (only GPS-module), Spark Cardio GPS Fitness Watch (GPS and DCHSS), Spark Music GPS Fitness Watch (GPS and music tracks from Ministry of Sound), Spark Cardio + Music GPS Fitness Watch (GPS, DCHSS and MoS), Spark Music GPS Fitness Watch + Bluetooth Headphones (GPS, MoS and headphones) and Spark Cardio + Music GPS Fitness Watch + Bluetooth Headphones (GPS, DCHSS, MoS and headphones). The maximum recommended price modification is about 250 euros.
