GoPro Action Camera unveiled a new generation HERO3 + Black Edition and Silver Edition. As the producer, new items are now 20% smaller and lighter than previous models. At the same time, the battery life is increased by 30%.
In HERO3 + family includes two models: Black Edition and Silver Edition. The devices are made in a secure enclosure. They can be used at depths up to 40 meters. Advanced optics provide enhanced sharpness, audio system has also undergone improvements. In the updates implemented an improved lens and a new module for wireless data transmission Wi-Fi. According to the manufacturer, the data rate has increased by 4 times.
The older version, Black Edition, allows you to record video formats 720p (up to 120 frames / second), 1080p (60 frames / second) and 4K (15 frames / second). It also supports the ability to shoot 12-megapixel photos (resolution 4000h3000 pixels). Silver Edition model supports video 720p (up to 120 frames / second) and 1080p (60 frames / second), and the resolution of photos is limited to 10 million pixels.
Both versions are equipped with a slot for microSD (up to 64GB), interfaces microHDMI and microUSB. The latter serves to charge the internal battery and transfer files to a computer. Built-in wireless Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to share data with the iPhone and iPad.
Renewed application GoPro App 2.2 for iOS, released simultaneously with the presentation HERO3 +, received the support of the new camcorders, and the ability to view the image with the lens in real time.
