It was learned that during the annual Consumer Electronics Show Consumer Electronics Show 2014, LG plans to showcase a major new TV with a curved display – 105UB9.
This device has a diagonal screen 105 inches. LG says that this model is the largest ever made featuring a curved display. Also notes that the novelty supports Ultra HD resolution 5120×2160 pixels (21:9 aspect ratio). User will be able to display additional information that will not block the main content.
Shortly after the announcement of LG, Samsung also announced its intention to show at CES 2014 105-inch Ultra HD TV with a curved display with a resolution of 5120×2160 pixels. More detailed characteristics of this device are not announced.
