In August last year, a California court ruled that Samsung had violated a number of patents owned by apple corporation and ordered the Korean manufacturer to pay Apple more than $ 1 billion.

However, after several appeals the Korean giant managed to reduce the amount of the fine to 598 million. But it seems that both companies realize that their legal war dragged on too. According to the newspaper Wall Street Journal, in February of this year, Samsung and Apple are in talks for a peaceful resolution of all conflicts.

Now we know that negotiations are taking place behind closed doors and as long as there is no insider information about what stage are the negotiations. According to some reports, the Korean giant is offering apple company to sign an agreement to resolve all the conflicts between the parties. However, it is not known whether it suits Apple.
