HP has announced a couple of laptops aimed at business users, or, quite simply, on the office plankton. Gadgets received unpretentious name HP EliteBook Folio 1020 Standard Edition and HP EliteBook Folio 1020 Special Edition. What do they look like and how different from each other, read under the cut.
HP EliteBook Folio 1020 Standard Edition and Special Edition – is a laptop, diagonal display that is 12.5 inches. Resolution matrix younger model – 1920 x 1080 pixels, the eldest – 2560 x 1440 are also available versions with touch screen.
Speaking of size, not to mention the main feature of the HP EliteBook Folio 1020 Special Edition – its compactness. Mass device is only 990 g (in its carbon fiber structure is used) and the thickness of 15.7 mm. The junior model from HP stood out a bit more – it is already mass of 1.2 kg and thickness – the same 15.7 mm.

Such a small size (for business laptops) devices are required to set them in the processors Intel Core M , which do not require active cooling, so that coolers in the HP EliteBook Folio 1020 you will not find.
Laptops will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM, SSD-volume drives installed in the HP EliteBook Folio 1020 ranges from 128 to 256 GB. Resolution webcam notebook very decent – 720p. The manufacturer promises that one battery HP EliteBook Folio 1020 Standard Edition and Special Edition are able to live up to 9 hours.

Sales HP EliteBook Folio 1020 Standard Edition will begin in February 2015, but the Special Edition will have to wait until April. Such later date the start of sales of devices is quite understandable, because Intel has not yet managed to produce processors installed in these laptops. The price of devices, HP does not say a word.
