On this week’s manufacturer FirstSpear announced several new products in the line of protective gear, here and expand the functionality of previously released models of platform jackets, new options Cummerbund, shoulder straps belt, as well as a brand new vest Deceptor, who will join the series of compact vests designed to be worn under clothing.
In contrast to the models and First On The Slick, who calculated under ballistic plate thickness up to 20 mm, Deceptor vest has a low profile design and is suitable for flexible ballistic packages, or to form a rigid steel plates with thickness up to 7 mm. According to preliminary information, the new vest is made from nylon and equipped with an average density of the two types of shoulder straps – elastic and rigid.
Structurally, the base model of the vest will consist of two main cases and two side covers for ballistic protection, and a pair of elastic Cummerbund shoulder straps. Cummerbund and shoulder straps are fixed only at the expense of velcro panel. The total empty weight vest must not exceed 252 grams.
