Celluon surprised many visitors CES 2015, presenting a very interesting projector. It is called PicoPro. It was learned that the device will soon go on public sale.
What solution is different from the competition? Surprisingly small size. This gadget is literally a “pocket” format. Who knows how – despite the small size – display HD-quality images.
Another worth noting that the device does not function using conventional LEDs. Instead, they used blue, yellow and red lasers.
This allows us to achieve a very decent performance. Judge for yourself. Diagonal “pictures” can be up to 250 inches. Maximum resolution – 1920 by 720 pixels. Contrast – 80,000:1.
If we talk about the brightness, it is equal to 30 ANSI-lumens. Need for manual focusing not.
NEW weighs 190 grams. Dimensions “ridiculous”: 152.4 by 76.2 by 12.7 mm. There is a headphone jack, Wi-Fi module for wireless connection, 1-watt speaker and port HDMI.
Built-in battery – according to the creators Celluon – guarantees from 2.5 to 3.5 hours of battery life. Battery capacity is not specified.
In commercial networks PicoPro appear in the coming days. Estimated price – 350 USD.
