Employee Opera created your new browser Vivaldi 

Former executive Opera Software Jon von Tetchner developed a new browser to “engine” Chromium.

Tetchner left the company in 2011 because of disagreements with shareholders on the topic of further development of the browser Opera, having decided to create your own software product. New yet available only in test mode, and its main difference from other browsers is advanced work with tabs: Vivaldi support the launch with several tabs, their grouping, bookmark manager and downloads, and more.

Vivaldi works based on Chromium technology from Google and get synchronize your notes, bookmarks and tabs between running versions of the browser, as well as built-in expansion. Planned and release a mobile version. Today Opera occupies only fifth place in the world ranking of the most popular browser with a share of 1.4%.
